Prepping the High Tunnel for the 2017 Vegetable Starts

Today was a fun day, we began prepping our small 20' x 40' high tunnel to accommodate some of this seasons vegetables starts. We have are setting up a basic structure of cinder blocks to support the open shelf racks. As you can see in the pictures below our trays will set on these shelf racks absorbing the sun and all it properties while allowing us to water freely.

The vegetables included in these tray starts include:

Hybrid Tomatoes, Heirloom Tomatoes, Green Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Tomatillos (green, purple and pineapple), Cucumbers, Pickling Cucumbers, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cauliflower, Celery, Cabbage (red and green), Eggplant, Okra, Peppers - Anaheim, Pablano, Banana, Bell (green, red, lavender, orange, red and yellow), Cayenne, Jalapeno (medium hot and grande for poppers), Lunch Box (orange, red and yellow), Padron, Pimiento (hot cherry), Squash - Acorn, Butternut, Spaghetti, Yellow Straightneck, Zucchini, Melons - Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Pumpkin and Watermelon.
